Kickoff is Up Next

With the season just around the corner, things are starting to ramp up here at the MLS Fan Podcast Network. Our first two shows are going strong. Check out new episodes of our DC United Podcast and Dynamo BLVD.

We’re also actively looking for new content. If you are interested in starting a show, please contact us. We hope to have a show for each club in the league by the end of the season. If you start your show with us, you will have free hosting and a growing community of podcasters to help you get on your way.

If you’re checking the blogs, refreshing your twitter, and searching for clips on YouTube every day, then grab a friend or two and start recording. We want you on our network!

Up and Running

The website is now functioning how we want it. The twitter is up and running (facebook coming soon). Now we need some content! But what is it that we’re looking for?

We want shows that will air once a week during the season (once every few weeks would be OK). The idea is a group of fans together and talk about last weeks match, look at the issues facing the club that week, and then look ahead in the schedule. We want people who are opinionated, but people who can have an interesting conversation that examines different sides of the issues facing their club. We want people who can engage their audience through blog posts, twitter, emails, tumblr, etc.

If you regularly post to a forum, or are part of a blog community, we want your opinions to be part of our network. Go to the Contact Us page and let us know if you are interested.

Welcome to the MLS Fan Podcast Network!

Hello and welcome to the MLS Fan Podcast Network. We’re currently working on getting the structure of this site up and running. We hope to be configured by the end of 2011. After that, our goal is to have a podcast for each club in the league by the end of 2012.

To do this, we need your help. We want podcasts run by fans, and for fans. If you are active in a supporters group, a forum, or you just have some fanatical friends, get together and start a show! If you already host a podcast but are looking to join a network, let us know! If you want more information, click the Contact Us link above and let us know what you’re thinking.

More information on the structure of this site and network to come.
